ABOUT REA

Ron Edwards Architect (REA) designs and develops educational, commercial and institutional projects In Kern and Tulare Counties. Ron started his own architectural firm in 2017, and plans to specialize in educational projects.  He plans to use his skills in leadership, budgeting, design and technical expertise to bring high-level customer service to his clients. REA prides itself on providing personalized service to clients and attention to detail required for their projects in helping them achieve their organization’s goals, on-time and on budget.

 

Ron Edwards attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville graduating in 1987 with a Bachelor of Architecture degree. Ron has been licenses in the state of California since 1994 specializing mostly in K-12 educational projects.

 

Ron served on the board for the Golden Empire Chapter of the American Institute of Architects from 2002-2006. He was the Chapter president in 2006. In addition to volunteering on a professional basis, Ron has given his time to several charitable groups over the years.

 

Ron has over 24 years of experience on educational projects ranging from modernizations, new schools, stadiums, classroom buildings, gymnasiums, cafetoriums, libraries and multi-use buildings. He has worked on over 20 modernization projects on the elementary and high school levels. He wrote the facility assessments on 22 elementary, junior high school and high school campuses for Santa Clara Unified School District. He has obtained DSA approval on over 30 projects.
