PROJECTS DETAIL (PERFORMED WHILE WORKING FOR OTHER ARCHITECTS) -
ROBERT F. KENNEDY HIGH SCHOOL STADIUM FACILITY
On this project, Ron was involved from early planning through construction. The project consisted of the addition of a 4500-seat stadium with press box, a synthetic turf football field, a synthetic track, a concessions/restrooms building, a ticket/entry structure and a new P.E. gymnasium. The facility was designed to meet CIF state standards so they could host regional track meets. This project obtained approvals through DSA using two Increments to expedite construction. Ron coordinated and obtained approvals for both increments.
ROBERT F. KENNEDY HIGH SCHOOL NEW LIBRARY
On this project, Ron was involved from the design phase through construction. The project consisted of the addition of a new library in the existing quad area. The facility provides ??? s.f. of shelving area, a computer lab and book storage. Ron coordinated and obtained DSA approval.
MARSA VOORHIES ELEMENTARY SCHOOL MODERNIZATION
On this project, Ron was brought in during the early scoping phase to assist another architect. He developed a preliminary budget to determine the scope of work. This project required multiple DSA approvals for the portables being replaced. Ron was responsible in obtaining approval for seven of the portables.
DOLORIS S. WHITLEY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
On this project, Ron was involved from the early planning through about 50% construction. He assisted in the layouts of the site and each of the buildings. The classroom buildings on this campus are permanent modular. Ron was involved in coordinating with modular manufacturers to work through the complex requirements for this method of delivery.
JAMES A. FOREST ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
On this project, Ron was involved from the early planning through DSA approval. He assisted in the layouts of the site and each of the buildings. The classroom buildings on this campus are permanent modular. Ron was involved in coordinating with modular manufacturers to work through the complex requirements for this method of delivery.

CSU BAKERSFIELD CHALLENGE COURSE (2018)
On this project, Ron was involved from the schematic phase through construction. The project consists of a challenge course developed for the CSUB student recreation department.
RICHGROVE SCHOOL MODULAR CLASSROOMS (ONGOING)
On this project, Ron has been involved from the early planning phase through the current agency approval phase. This project consists of removing (11) above grade portables and replacing with permanent modular classrooms on concrete foundations. Ron was involved in coordinating with modular manufacturers to work through the complex requirements for this method of delivery. Ron coordinated and obtained DSA approval. This project is currently in construction.
RICHGROVE SCHOOL KINDERGARTEN MODULAR CLASSROOM (ONGOING)
On this project, Ron has been involved from the early planning phase through the current agency approval phase. This project consists of providing one new permanent modular kindergarten classroom. Ron was involved in coordinating with modular manufacturers to work through the complex requirements for this method of delivery.
ORANGEWOOD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL MODERNIZATION (ONGOING)
On this project, Ron has been involved from the early planning phase through the current agency approval phase. The project consists of by-passing the existing sewer and connecting to the sewer in the street, adding a new parking lot, remodeling three classroom buildings and providing site ADA improvements.
ORANGEWOOD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL KINDERGARTEN MODULAR CLASSROOMS (ONGOING)
On this project, Ron has been involved from the early planning phase through the current agency approval phase. This project consists of providing 6 new permanent modular kindergarten classrooms. Ron was involved in coordinating with modular manufacturers to work through the complex requirements for this method of delivery.
